General Orthopaedics
As orthopaedic surgeons, our physicians specialize in diseases and injuries of the musculoskeletal system. Our doctors have undergone extensive training to accurately diagnose and treat problems with bones, muscles, tendons, and ligaments that allow you to move and be active. All of our physicians are board-certified and possess notable expertise in their respective subspecialties that complement their training in general orthopaedics.
Patient-focused care
One of the standout features of our practice is the personalized attention that we provide for all of our patients. From the time you call to make an appointment through your course of treatment with the practice, you will have our undivided attention. We understand that injuries and their treatments can be complex, and strive to be sure that all of your questions and concerns are addressed in a timely fashion. Our patients tell us that this is why they return and recommend our practice to friends and family-because our doctors provide the personal, individualized treatment that has become rare in today’s healthcare system.
Evaluation
At WOSM, our physicians will provide a comprehensive evaluation to determine the cause of your discomfort. You can expect a thorough assessment, in which your doctor will ask you to describe the history and extent of this injury or condition. If this is a long-standing condition, we recommend that you bring all pertinent medical records, including x-rays or other diagnostic images, with you to your appointment.
Treatment
After you are assessed by your physician, he will discuss his recommendations for treatment. This treatment plan will be tailored to meet your personal goals and needs. Your doctor may recommend diagnostic imaging, physical or occupational therapy, medication, or simply rest. When appropriate, surgery may be recommended based on the best-available medical evidence and our years of experience providing the highest level of state-of-the-art orthopaedic care.
