Our posture is something we don’t think about much or believe has much importance. However, poor posture can lead to back, shoulder, and neck pain; headaches; digestive problems, and other issues.
In this video, Eric Liu, PT, DPT, COMT of the SMARTherapy at Washington Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine, talks about what constitutes good posture for sitting and standing. He demonstrates some simple exercises that can help you maintain your strength and flexibility in common postures.
